  Price is relative. Great for the money
  Had a set of knives we have been using for ages now. So this new set is surprising.Tested the blades on the cardboard box it came in, and the blades sliced through with zero effort.The difference between my old set and these is night and day.So if you get a new set of knives, treat them with respect as they will be a lot sharper than your old knives.In use they are comfortable to use and the surface texture of them helps you to grip them easily.Due to their sharpness, less effort is now required when cutting veg/meat etc.The non stick coating will also be helping here I think.I like the blade sheaths, but may get a knife block for them as its easier to just plonk them in after use.For the princely sum of just £12.99 as of May 2024 though.   Good selection of inexpensive knives
  In the box you get five knives of different styles, along with a plastic sheath for each knife.The knives themselves look pretty cool with their black blades, but the handles feel a little cheap. The rubber lower part of the handle is quite comfortable, and there is actually a bit of weight in the handle which suggests the tang might extend at least part way into the handle - though I can't see any rivets.The knives are very sharp out of the box. I appreciate that on the chef's knife and santoku knife the cuting edge runs right through to the heel, with no unsharpened portion of the blade contacting the surface whilst chopping.There was a little bit of flashing from the injection moulding of the plastic and rubber in the handles which needed to be trimmed manually. This also appears to be visible in the product photos on Amazon! There were also a few nicks and scuffs on a couple of the handles.I do like the plastic sheath for each knife, which perfectly covers each blade.I intend to keep these with my picnic backpack and use them exclusively for camping, as they are lightweight engouh to easily carry around, and have protective sheaths to avoid injuries when removing them from the backpack.

  Cool looking knives and cheap
  In the box, you get 5 various kitchen knives and 5 sheaths to store them in. At first glance, the black finish with white dots all over looks pretty cool. They also have ribs all along the bottom. I tested the bigger Sontoku knife and it is lightweight and the sharpness feels solid out of the box.It lacks the weight to make it effortless for harder vegetables like carrots, but it's not that bad.The sheath covers the whole knife and even further back from the heel, where accidents tend to happen.The handle feels cheap but it is easy to hold. The top of the handle is plastic and the bottom is rubber making it easy to grip but a little on the smaller side.These aren't your top-end knives but for the price of 12,99, these are worth it.
